Director of Sales and Marketing

The Sheraton Cleveland Airport Hotel is Cleveland's destination for the business traveler. We are a full-service, 242 room inventory property that has over 22,000 square feet of newly renovated banquet and meeting space.

The Director of Sales oversees target accounts and develops specific plans for the team to ensure group revenue growth of strategic accounts (existing and new). The DOS identifies, analyzes and prospects new clients and other potential sales channels as it relates to group sales while managing the development, productivity and performance of the Sales Team. This is also a selling position and comes with a very rich commission and bonus program.

-Requires a minimum of 5+ year(s) of Hotel Sales experience as a DOS of a property of similar market, size and quality.

-Position will be required to work a varied schedule that may include evenings, nights, and weekends.

-Establish profitable and cost effective sales programs.
-Develop and implement Hotel sales and marketing plan.
-Maintain sales awareness throughout property.
-Consistently monitor results to goals.
-Teach, train, counsel, and lead Sales staff in consistently exceeding production goals.
-Direct selling effort of sales and reservations.
-Ensure customer satisfaction.
-Monitor competition.
-Stress development of weekend business.
-Build shoulder season group business.
-Develop and promote trade and consumer sales programs, packages, etc.
-Develop budgets, projections, and implementation plans for each market segment.
