Corporate Group Sales
The Cleveland Indians are currently scouting to fill this full-time position in our fast-paced Group Ticket Sales Department. This sales professional will be responsible for generating revenue through the sale of group tickets, events, merchandise and luxury inventory directly to Corporations with 100 or more employees based on assigned territory. This includes prospecting, generating sales leads for all corporate revenue opportunities, and conducting face to face sales calls. This position also requires game day, evening, and weekend work based on baseball schedule, and special event coordination and execution of the group sale. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2-4 years of direct sales experience ideally within the service industry (amusement park, hotel, museum, sports and entertainment venue, etc.) and a background in special event coordination. Candidate must possess exceptional telephone presence, a complete understanding of the sales process, customer service skills, and an ability to work independently. A proficiency with Microsoft Office, ticketing system (Ticketmaster preferred), and experience using Microsoft CRM (or other Sales & Marketing database, such as Goldmine, or Access) are necessary for this outstanding opportunity.
