4th Annual Driven by Love golf outing
Success Story
When Jeff Sauter climbed off the bus more than 20 years ago after a week at the Achievement Centers for Children's Camp Cheerful holding a plastic bag with a goldfish, his mother, Judy, knew he had reached a turning point in his life. Born with spina bifida, Sauter had undergone dozens of major surgeries early in his life. Although he had learned to walk and was making progress in his physical development, it was his experiences at the Achievement Centers Camp Cheerful that ignited an inner-strength in him.
"At Camp Cheerful, I learned that it was up to me to make the most of my abilities," he said. "Being there showed me that I just needed to look for ways to overcome my disability. I may not have known that then, but I know now that it was there that I realized there was nothing I could not do."

Our mission is to work with children with disabilities and their families to strengthen abilities and create opportunities for lifelong achievement in society.
